Aziz Ahmadzai, Director General of Afghanistan National Standards Authority made the remarks at the weekly meeting of the leadership board. "We are aiming to commence the process of certification in the near future, This is an important step and we need to work on it at a swift pace”.

Mr. Ahmadzai mentioned that all the relevant administrative departments must prepare an action plan and have a incremental road map as well as holistic, to reach the organisational objectives in a timely and effectively manner. He emphasized on capacity building of the staffs and said that a team should be assigned comprised of various capabilities to develop the expertise in all areas. Moreover, revenue targets must be met.

During the meeting, all directors presented their weekly reports and further tasks were assigned to be completed in the next seven days. Mr. Ahmadzai emphasized the need for speedy and smooth implementation and added that we need to achieve more goals in the shorter term and change ANSA for the better.
