An Event held regarding eliminating violence against women

An event was held concerning the campaign for eradication of violence against women in ANSA's office. The event was attended by Azizi Ahmadzai, director general of ANSA, Matiullah Zaland, technical deputy director,Obaidullah Shahzad, deputy finance and admin, Dr. Muhamad Wahid, representative of human rights commission, ANSA staff and other honorable guests.

First, Mr Ahmadzai spoke about the vital role women play in our societies and necessary efforts that have to be stepped up in order to protect women rights.He added that women have a substantial and significant role in all areas of life and stressed that it is necessary to recognize the position of women in society and to respect their human and Islamic rights.

Later on, Mr. Zaland highlighted role of women from the perspective of Islam religion and added that eradicating violence against women is our shared responsibility. " Safe working environment is a legal right of women and the new management of ANA will not spare any effort in supporting women in workplace.

Similarly, Mr. Shahzad discussed the better grounding of the work environment for women and said that the new leadership of the ANSA is committed to resolutely supporting female employees and will prepare a better as well as suitable environment for their legal security.

At the end, representing women, director of gender department spoke about women's rights. The event concluded with distribution of appreciation letters for ANSA's female staff.
