The National Standard Authority has transparently and decisively managed the process of quality verification and control of construction materials at the country's ports

With a strong commitment to public health and consumer protection, the authority has made continuous efforts to standardize imports.

 By organizing port operations and regulating imports, the authority has effectively prevented the entry of substandard construction materials into the country.

According to reliable reports, from (1st Hamal to 30th Dalwa 1403), a total of (65,796) shipments of construction materials, weighing (2,456,987.12) tons and covering (7,832,121.01) square meters, have undergone quality verification at the country's ports.

Among these, (45) shipments, with a total weight of (1,226.81) tons, have been found to be non-compliant with standards.

The inspected materials include cement, girders, bitumen, tiles, ceramics, and other construction supplies, with (34,367) samples undergoing laboratory testing.

As the sole official authority responsible for quality verification and control in the country, the Afghanistan National Standard Authority, with its specialized personnel and well-equipped modern laboratories, remains committed to improving quality standards in the construction sector.
