The technical committee meeting on the development of food standards was held at the National Standards Authority with the presence of Mawlawi Mohammad Hanif, Head of National Standards and Building Codes Development and Promotion, the head of the relevant committee, and its technical members in the Authority’s conference hall.

In this session, the drafts of two national standards — Liquid Whitener for Tea and Coffee and Instant Soup Standard — were thoroughly reviewed and discussed from a technical perspective. The committee members, through their professional insights, emphasized the improvement of content, enhancement of quality, and applicability of these standards.

By organizing such technical sessions, the Afghanistan National Standards Authority aims to expand the framework for the standardization of food products in the country and to play a valuable role in ensuring public health by promoting quality.
