Specialized Workshop by the National Standards Authority Held for Ministry of Public Health Staff
This educational workshop, focused on standardization and implementation of standards within the Ministry of Public Health, was attended by Mr. Mohammad Wali Adel, Director of Licensing and Registration of Food Products, food and agricultural product standards specialists from the National Standards Authority, and several professional staff members from the Food and Drug Directorate of the Ministry of Public Health.
The purpose of the workshop was to raise awareness among staff regarding the importance of implementing food standards to improve quality, ensure food safety, and support public health.
During the event, Dr. Wakil Rahimi, Head of Food and Agricultural Products Standards Development at the National Standards Authority, delivered a comprehensive and scientific presentation on the significance of standardization in improving the quality of domestic products, ensuring community health, and contributing to national economic growth.
He also gave a technical presentation introducing participants to the mechanisms of standard development, stages of implementation, and practical examples in the field of food products.
The program concluded with interactive discussions and a Q&A session between the participants and experts.
